This is such an interesting variscite stone! This is a somewhat new find and I believe it’s from Nevada. It’s called kaleidoscope. I just love the softer green and yellow spots in the dark host rock. The few pieces I have, which are all very small, are either green and black or yellow and black. This is the only one that has the combination of colors. As always, it’s much prettier in person.

This is the smallest split shank ring I’ve ever made. I used a small decorative wire to make the double band. I think the little circles on the band look lovely with the spots on the stone. It was a challenge but I also found the perfect piece of silver that I had decorated with one of my favorite paisley prints that happens to have a few small round accent patterns on it, too. One of those fit the back of this stone perfectly.

This ring will fit a size 5.75 to 6 US. I may be able to size it up just ever so slightly. this ring band material is dainty and doesn’t have a lot of extra silver to play with. Please contact me if you have any questions about the sizing!
