Oh this little turtle! He is adorable with his little feet and tail. Although I had issues with the wide band, it was fun to make. I made the design on the band and it reminds me of turtle skin. The oxidized silver band is smaller, due to aforementioned issues, so it measures about 14mm wide and has a very comfortable fit. I hand polished the high parts on the wide band, and on the turtles feet, head, and tail to give him a little extra shine. I decided to compliment the shiny silver parts with small shiny bands on either side of the turtle.

This ring is a size 8 US. But, usually with wide band rings you want to buy a size larger. So this would fit a size 7 to 7.25 comfortably.

This piece has been hand forged by me in my little studio, with the exception of the turtle. All metal used on this piece is solid fine silver and solid sterling silver. I use recycled fine silver and recycled sterling silver whenever possible.
