Rare Sand Hill Turquoise and Silver Ring

Rare Sand Hill Turquoise and Silver Ring

$147.32
The colors and variations of Sand Hill turquoise are amazing. This stone is very different from the other sand hill that I own. I just love this stone! Unfortunately, the mine was depleted soon after it was discovered so what’s out there with collectors, rock cutters, and jewelers, is all that’s left! I figured I should share the love. I patterned the back of this ring with a pretty star shape and added fine silver sequins to give it a little more weight and protect against the sharp points of the silver diamond backplate. I duplicated the sequins on to the back of the band so that it has a nice fidget button.

⚒️(More information on the mine can be found below) ⚒️

This ring measures a 7 on my ring mandrel but due to the wide width of the diamond pattern band, it will fit a half to whole size smaller. Please contact me if you have questions about sizing!

Turquoise has been worn and used for years for it’s energy balancing benefits. It is a stone that promotes strength, courage, stability and inner calm.

The gems I use in my jewelry are ethically sourced. No two are exactly alike! In addition to these variations, inclusions and irregularities are not flaws but rather a reflection of nature’s beauty.

💜 This piece has been forged by me in my little studio using methods that smiths have used for thousands of years. All metal used on this piece is fine silver and sterling silver. I use recycled silver whenever possible.💜

This ring will arrive beautifully gift wrapped.

⚒️ The Sand Hill Turquoise mine was located in the east extension of the Hubei and Shaanxi metallogenic belts that extend east to Renyu, China. Located in the Dashiqiao and Huangzhang areas of Xichuan (Sichuan), it was produced at the bottom of the Lower Cambrian siliceous rock and stone coal bed on the south flank of the Shigang-Jingziguan complex syncline.⚒️
