I love open concept rings! They are adjustable without looking like an adjustable ring. Perfect for people with arthritis, swelling in hands, or those that have broken fingers in the past. The stones on this ring are amazing. A purple coyamito agate and lavender amethyst with the most beautiful inclusions. I made a gallery setting to accent the unique shape of the amethyst. I like the asymmetrical design of the stones and settings. The backplates are almost as beautiful as the stones and have been oxidized to bring out the patterns. I used a heavy double half round wire for the band and left it solid on the amethyst side and opened it for a split shank design on the agate side. This ring is substantial but is very comfortable to wear.

This ring is adjustable and will fit a range of sizes from an 8.25 US to a 9.5 US. It depends on how you prefer to wear this style of ring.

Amethyst has been worn as protection from self-deception, as well as a protection against witchcraft. The amethyst has long been used to open the spiritual and psychic centers, making it one of the power stones.
