This agatized fossil coral is amazing and completely natural! Fossil coral is a natural gemstone that is created when prehistoric coral is gradually replaced with agate. Corals are marine animals and it is their skeletons that are fossilized and preserved. To see it black, like this, is more rare. I just loved the dramatic look of this stone! I used silver sheet that I imprinted with crocodile print for the setting. I used some of that sheet to make the ring band and bordered it with snakeskin print wire. The croc print will become more visible the more this ring is worn and not cleaned.

This ring is a 9.25 but because of the wide band, it will fit closer to an 8.25 or 8.5. I may be able to stretch this slightly but it’s more difficult because of the width. Please contact me if you have any questions about sizing!

This piece has been entirely hand forged by me in my little studio. All metal used on this piece is fine and solid 925 sterling silver. I use recycled silver whenever possible.
