This cedar frond ring was a fun challenge, setting the new lander variscite cabochon on the cedar was no easy task! I don’t normally work with neutral and earth toned stones but when I saw this Hubei turquoise cabochon, I knew it was something I had to create around. The green veins in it are stunning! And of course they pair perfectly with the new lander cab.
I patterned the back and ring band with the same design, which I feel is a very natural design.

This piece has been hand forged by me in my little studio using methods that have been around for hundreds of years. All metal used on this piece is solid 999 fine silver and solid 925 sterling silver. I use recycled fine silver and recycled sterling silver whenever possible.
